BSSC CGL 4th Graduate Level Recruitment 2025 for 1481 Vacancies

Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has officially announced the 4th Graduate Level Recruitment for the year 2025 under Advertisement No. 05/2025. Syllabus

Preliminary Exam Syllabus:

  • General Studies: Questions on Indian history, geography, Indian polity, current affairs including scientific progress, national/international awards, sports, important events, and India’s neighboring countries.
  • General Science & Mathematics: Basic concepts from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and fundamental arithmetic topics such as percentage, time & work, profit & loss, simple & compound interest, time & distance, HCF & LCM, and data interpretation (bar graph, pie chart).
  • Comprehension/Logical Reasoning/Mental Ability: Series, arithmetical reasoning, Venn diagrams, number series, coding-decoding, problem-solving techniques, statement and conclusion types, syllogistic reasoning, seating arrangements, and visual memory.

Mains Exam Syllabus:

Paper 1

  • Hindi language: Topics include samas, sandhi, alankar, tatsam and tadbhav words, spelling, antonyms, synonyms, idioms & proverbs, gender, number, sentence correction, etc.

Paper 2

  • General Studies: History, geography of India, constitution & polity, awards and honors, independence movement, economic affairs, science & technology, agriculture, five-year plans, and sports.
  • General Science & Mathematics: Biology (plant and animal kingdom, reproduction, heredity, evolution, cell), Physics (motion, sound, reflection, gravitation, electricity), Chemistry (chemical reactions, acids, bases, periodic table), along with math topics same as prelims.
  • Reasoning Ability: Logical reasoning, decision-making, problem-solving, basic numeracy, series, coding-decoding, inequalities, syllogistic reasoning, seating arrangements.
