Scheme of the Examination for Sub-Inspectors & Constables
The Examination will be conducted in Four Phase
Phase – I Computer-Based Examination (CBT)
Phase – II Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
Phase – III Document Verification (DV)

 

 

RPF Sub-Inspectors & Constables CBT Exam Pattern

Arithmetic 35 Questions 35 Marks
General Intelligence & reasoning 35 Questions 35 Marks
Total 120 Questions 120 Marks
Negative marks shall be awarded for every wrong answer. 1/3 marks shall be deducted for every wrong answer.
The standard of examination will be 10th/Matric level.



Syllabus For Sub-Inspectors & Constables (CBT) Examination
Arithmetic
whole numbers, decimal and fractions and relationships between numbers, Questions on Number systems, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentages, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and proportion, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, use of table and graphs,  etc.
General Awareness
Questions Will Likely be aimed at Examining the candidate’s Overall awareness of the environment around him and Its Own Program to society; to examine comprehension of current events and these issues of routine observations and adventures as might be expected of any educated individual. The evaluation may also include questions pertaining to Indian History, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, General Polity, Indian Constitution, Sports,
General Science etc..
General Intelligence & reasoning
Questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving evaluation, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating monitoring, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and guess classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, announcement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc..
Eligibility Criteria
  • For Constable : 10th (SSLC/Matric) from a recognized Board.
  • For SI : Graduate from a recognized University.
