Syllabus for MP Police Constable Recruitment 2025
The written examination is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) with 100 multiple-choice questions. The syllabus is distributed as follows:
- General Knowledge and Current Affairs: 40 marks
Topics include latest national and international events, Madhya Pradesh state affairs, Indian history, geography, culture, polity, economy, and environmental science. - Reasoning and Mental Ability: 30 marks
Logical reasoning, analytical ability, puzzles, series, coding-decoding, inequalities, syllogisms, and decision-making. - Science and Basic Mathematics: 30 marks
Fundamental principles of Physics, Chemistry, Biology along with basic arithmetic, number system, percentage, ratio and proportion, averages, time and work, time and distance, and simple algebra.
Marking Scheme: +1 for each correct answer, no negative marking. The total duration for the exam is 2 hours.
Salary for MP Police Constable 2025
- Initial pay scale is ₹19,500 to ₹62,000 (Level 4).
- During the probation period:
- 1st Year: 70% of basic salary
- 2nd Year: 80% of basic salary
- 3rd Year: 90% of basic salary
- After successful probation, candidates receive full salary including allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other government benefits.
