Indian Army SSC Tech Salary and Benefits:
As a newly commissioned Lieutenant, you’ll enter Pay Matrix Level 10, beginning with a salary of ₹56,100, a solid foundation enhanced by a range of allowances that significantly boost your overall compensation package.
During your training at the Pre-Commission Training Academy (PCTA), you will receive a fixed monthly stipend of ₹56,100, ensuring financial stability while you develop the skills and knowledge essential for your role. Upon successful commissioning and advancement through the ranks, your pay scale will increase commensurately, reflecting your growing experience, responsibilities, and contributions to the Indian Army, providing ample opportunity for career progression and increased earning potential. - Lieutenant: Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500)
- Captain: Level 10B (₹61,300 – ₹1,93,900)
- Major: Level 11 (₹69,400 – ₹2,07,200)
- Lieutenant Colonel: Level 12A (₹1,21,200 – ₹2,12,400)
- And so on, up to the Chief of Army Staff (COAS).
In addition to the basic pay, you will be entitled to:
- Military Service Pay (MSP): A fixed amount of ₹15,500 per month.
- Dearness Allowance (DA): As per government rates.
